There's a lot of reasons for Akechi to not want to leave right away. He's still soaked, which will just makes the risk of hypothermia worse. He still doesn't know anything about this world. He's exhausted, the sort of exhausted he's used to only feeling in the Metaverse, the sort of exhausted that makes something as simple as walking feel like a chore.

But the real reason he doesn't want to leave is that it's Shido's idea.
